Agar gurua jo mile ishaaro sunn manzal vusmaad mile;
Agar gurua jo mile ishaaro darveshan jo daad mile. Agar gurua jo mile ishaaro rooh vatan aazaad mile; Agar gurua jo mile ishaaro agamm tikaano shad mile. Avtar ishaare gurua banaaya raam karishan jeeyn kaamal peer; Gurua ishaare san thiya sabhee jag me har jaati raahgeer. |

It one is blessed with the divine gesture of the True Master, he finds the wonderful destination full of peace.
If one is blessed with the divine gesture of the True Master, he gets the praise of saints. If one is blessed with the divine gesture of the True Master, he finds that realm of soul where there is absolute freedom; If one is blessed with the divine gesture of the True Master, he rests at the place which is inaccessible but full of bliss. Avtar says, it was the divine gesture of the True Master that made the prophets like Rama and Krishna; And it was the divine gesture of the True Master that made every devotee in this world who followed God after knowing Him. |
Meaning
This verse explains how a devotee is made by just one signal from the True Master. If one is blessed with the divine signal from the True Master, he finds the wonderful destination full of peace. He gets the praise of saints. He finds that kingdom of soul where there is absolute freedom. He finds his final destination. Here Baba Avtar Singh ji says, it was the divine signal of the True Master that made the prophets like Rama and Krishna and converted an ordinary human being into a true devotee.
